The Exterior Three - Particle Wave Function
نویسنده
چکیده
For three particles interacting via forces of finite range, it is shown that the wave function interior to the finite volume where all three force ranges overlap completely determines the exterior wave function, provided only the wave functions (half off-shell t matrices) of the isolated two-particle subsystems are also known inside their own range of force. The determination is provided by the solution of a one-variable integral equation with a compact kernel, whose resolvent applied to any parametrization of the interior wave function supplies the equivalent of a phase shift analysis for three-particle final states (exact description of overlapping resonances throughout the Dalitz plot), and (if the interior three-particle fordes are also known) a matrix equation for the interior wave function. Unitary Phenomenological Description of Three - Particle Systems ?
A general unitary phenomenological description of strongly interacting three-particle systems is developed in terms of two-particle phase shifts and binding energies, two-particle wave functions inside the range of forces, and the three-body wave function in the region where all three force ranges overlap. The two-particle external and internal parameters are unambiguously separated from each o...
متن کاملInvestigating the Third Order Solitary Wave Generation Accuracy using Incompressible Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics
This paper examines the generation and propagation of a Third order solitary water wave along the channel. First the Incompressible Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (ISPH) numerical method is described and the boundary condition handling method is presented. The numerical model is then used to simulate solitary wave propagation along the fixed depth channel. The numerical results are compared wi...
متن کاملJoint inversion of ReMi dispersion curves and refraction travel times using particle swarm optimization algorithm
Shear-wave velocity ( ) is an important parameter used for site characterization in geotechnical engineering. However, dispersion curve inversion is challenging for most inversion methods due to its high non-linearity and mix-determined trait. In order to overcome these problems, in this study, a joint inversion strategy is proposed based on the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. The ...
متن کاملAn Application of Kubota-yokoyama Estimates to Quasilinear Wave Equations with Cubic Terms in Exterior Domains
Small global solutions for quasilinear wave equations are considered in three space dimensions in exterior domains. The obstacles are compact with smooth boundary and the local energy near the obstacles is assumed to decay exponentially with a possible loss of regularity. The null condition is needed to show global solutions for quadratic nonlinearities.
متن کاملDecay of solutions of the two-dimensional wave equation in exterior domains
This report concerns the behavior, at large times, of solutions of two-dimensional wave equations in exterior regions. This behavior is related to low frequency calculations for the reduced wave equation. Both Dirichlet and Neumann boundary data are considered, and it is shown that there are differences in the two cases. The results also differ greatly from the corresponding ones in three dimen...
